The Skull (featuring vocalist Eric Wagner and bassist Ron Holzner of metal legends Trouble) have finished their anticipated sophomore album The Endless Road Turns Dark, set to drop on September 7 via Tee Pee Records. The band also features Cathedral dummer Brian Dixon, guitarist Lothar Keller (Sacred Dawn), and guitarist Rob Wrong (Witch Mountain), rounding out a band of pure and true doom bloodline. Can't go wrong with this one if you enjoy sludgy, slow metal mixed with some psychedelic freakouts and meanderings.

You can pre-order The Endless Road Turns Dark over at Tee Pee Records. The Skull also set forth on a tour on June 2, where they headlined the Doomed & Stoned fest in Chicago. Here are the rest of the dates, starting with today:
