Holy Shit the N.E.R.D and Future Video for "1000" Rules

N.E.R.D "1000" video still

January 3, 2018 | by Jocelyn Hoppa

Technically, the video for "1000" by N.E.R.D and Future dropped in early December, but end of year biz put a proper viewing on the back burner. It starts with a flip disclaimer: N*E*R*D and Columbia Records do not support or condone violence in any shape or form. We only have internet access." Much of the video shows found footage of more recent demonstrations against white supremacy and racism, some added proof that people are showing up to put an end to this senseless power.

You'll also notice the same dancer, Mette Towley, show up in several new N.E.R.D videos along with the group's troupe The Baes. The Independent posted an interview with Towley today, where she discusses stepping into a role to beautifully exemplify what's currently at stake and how to be positive force for change.
