DJ Snake Tells Tale of India Firefighters in "Magenta Riddim" Vid

April 12, 2018 | by James Greene, Jr.

"Magenta Riddim," the latest video from French producer DJ Snake, matches the song's vibrant Indian flare with the story of a beloved firefighting unit in that country who dance as much as they rescue. Actually, everybody's dancing in this thing, even the delinquents who are starting fires. Who can blame them? This is an infectious cut from the Snake Man.

Gal Muggia and Vania Heymann directed "Magenta Riddim" and the clip was shot in the southern Indian state of Talengana. Watch out for the twist ending — this is the Usual Suspects of music videos about Indian firefighters.
