BabyMetal's U.S. Management Confirms Yuimetal Still in Group

Speculation has run wild this week regarding Yuimetal, the member of BabyMetal who on Tuesday was absent without explanation at the first concert of the group's 2018 world tour in Kansas City. Yuimetal also missed the tour's second stop in Austin last night, but as fan worry and theory began to crest, an answer arrived.

"Yuimetal remains a member of the band, but she is not on this current U.S. tour," a spokesperson from 5B, BabyMetal's U.S. management organization, told Alternative Press last night. "There is a new narrative for the future of the band which is currently evolving. This was the basis of the 'Metal Resistance: Episode 7: The Revelation' video."

Sounds like Yuimetal has become the Brian Wilson of this beloved fusion act. Hopefully there are no Eugene Landy figures in her life.
