Spend Halloween with Danzig in Denver

July 11, 2018 | by James Greene, Jr.

Glenn Danzig has announced a series of concert engagements for the 2018 Halloween season starring Danzig, his eponymous heavy metal quartet whose most recent album Black Laden Crown was released in 2017. It's a predominantly West Coast haunting this time as Danzig the band closes out their 30th year of dramatic belt buckle rock.

Of course, Glenn must retain some air of mystery here — the location of October 28th concert will not be revealed until July 25th. Spooky!

10/24 – Portland, OR @ Roseland

10/25 – Seattle, WA @ Sodo

10/27 – Salt Lake City, UT @ The Complex

10/28 – TBA

10/31 – Denver, CO @ The Fillmore

11/01 – Albuquerque, NM @ El Rey Theatre

11/03 – Irvine, CA @ FivePoint Ampitheatre

Danzig's self-titled debut was released three decades ago this August and in regard to this auspicious anniversary once again Glenn is throwing a curveball. When Danzig the band appears at Nevada's Psycho Las Vegas festival next month the group will perform not their first record in its entirety but their third, 1992's Danzig III: How the Gods Kill

Confusing and nonsensical, but by now we all know Danzig is as Danzig does.
